Question by Anastasia: Fit people do you do strength training everyday?
I did 100 crunches with a 15 lbs kettle bell along with other an muscles. My upper abs are a little sore. Do you do strength training everyday or every other? I’m doing cardio everyday though
Answer by E I started doing weights about a year ago. M body has changed dramatically and yes I did lose weight. Abs aren’t a big muscle group so you will need to do more than just abs. Check out The Eat Clean Diet by Tosca Reno or Jamie Easons Live Fit program. There is tons of info about both online. Good luck
Question by Amanda: can i still use my kettle bell during pregnancy?
i have a 15 lb kettle bell that i use to do side bends and back work with. ( i hold it in front of me and slowly lower it to the floor and use my back muscles to stand up straight again. its great for back fat and lovehandles) im 6 weeks pregnant and wonder if i can still use it. i have stopped since i found out i was pregnant, but have not been to the doctor yet (insurance issues)
Answer by Caitlin Yes! You can still do any of the workouts you regularly did before you got pregnant. Unless you notice unusual pain, it should be fine. My doctor said to keep as active as possible, including weight bearing exercise. It keeps you healthy, your baby healthy, and helps you shed off the extra lbs after baby is born! Hope this helps.
Question by How’s My Hair?: How do I sign up to become a Red Kettle bell ringer for the Salvation Army?
Can I sign up at my local thrift store? Or is there a way I can sign up through phone/online?
And I just turned 18, is that too young? I’ve always wanted to volunteer as a kid but figured it would be best to wait until I wasn’t a minor.
Answer by Monty Call the Salvation Army and ask them.
Question by Layne: What muscles does a properly executed kettle bell clean and press work out?
Answer by LB #31 A properly executed kettle bell clean and press will work out basically your entire body. Primarilly the “clean” portion will work your hamstrings, glutes, lower back and traps, but it will hit many, many other muscles as well. The “press” part will work your quads, shoulders and triceps.
